Privacy and terms

This is the personal website of Julia Symmes Cobb. It exists to describe her work and make her easy to reach. It is not a commercial site.

Visiting the site sets no cookies and asks for no personal information. There are no accounts, forms, comment boxes or newsletters.

The site keeps aggregate visit counts through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not track visitors across other sites and does not store IP addresses. It tells us roughly how many people visited and which pages they read, nothing about who they are.

The site is hosted by Vercel and its typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Like any web host, those services see the technical details of a request, such as an IP address, in order to deliver the page. Neither is given anything else.

Links to articles, podcasts and social networks take you to other organisations' sites, which have their own privacy practices.

If you email Julia, the message is used only to reply to you and is not added to any list.
